Our headquarters exist around many locations including Northern California, Southern California, British Columbia, Michigan, Illinois, and United Kingdom.
Anyway, our Rivian First Mile program offers a variety of opportunities to get a feel for a Rivian car. First Mile is introducing the Rivian vehicle, with a strategic extension of venues every month, from reaching you at your city to starting a trial drive to join us at our events. Register to be aware whenever we visit your city and get the chance to see a Rivian in person.
Can I Try A Test Drive of a Rivian Car?
Why not! We’re looking forward to getting more of you behind the wheel and meeting you for a drive. Our drive program is rapidly growing, and we’ll be adding additional driving opportunities each month.
Sign up for our email to keep up with the adventure and be notified when our event schedule changes.
How Is My Trial Drive Going To Be?
When the possibility for both tour events and mobile drives becomes available in your area, you’ll receive an invitation to schedule through your Rivian Account. You’ll be able to test the vehicle’s performance, capacities, and inherent nature, including materials and in-vehicle GPS, during your demo drive.
You’ll be able to drive on pavement and off-pavement, as well as encounter ascents, descents, and minor rough sections, giving you a very well and balanced driving experience. We’ll also have a variety of combinations and choices available for you to try yourself. A vehicle walk-around and drive are included in the thirty-minute trial drive.
We’ve set up stations with Rivian team members so you can take deep dives into how we designed the R1T and get answers to all of your concerns. Before or after your trip, you’ll be able to try R1T charging, storage, and more – just make sure to check our hours of operation and prepare appropriately.
During a mobile drive, you’ll get a firsthand look at a Rivian while being guided by one of our Field Specialists. A vehicle walk-around is followed by a 20-minute drive on mobile drives.
Please note that during the first half of 2022, First Mile experiences will also be accessible in Canada.
Can Any Friend Or Family Member Accompany Me In The Test Drive?
Surely! You may bring up to two other visitors to your First Mile event with you to join your Drive Coach or Field Specialist. Before your booked appointment, be sure to add them to your Rivian Account reservation.
A parent or guardian must accompany children and sign the experience waiver and supply booster or kid seats, as required by state law.
What If Any Important Work Comes In By The Scheduled Time?
Things happen, as we all know. So, you can change your First Mile appointment whenever you want before the event using your Rivian Profile, pending availability.
If you need any extra assistance, please contact Customer Support at customerservice@rivian.com or (888) RIVIAN1.
What Exactly Are Experience Spaces, And How Do I Go There?
Our experience spaces are a variety of fixed and temporary locations, as well as open lands, that are meant to inspire and encourage people to get outside and explore. Our venues help bring in new customers while also providing a platform for our membership program since they are designed as an interconnected network of Rivian-owned locations that are linked by a large footprint of Rivian Adventure Network DC fast charging facilities. Special access, exclusive programs, charging, and in-person events that line with our goal will all be available as part of the Rivian membership program.
Planned experience spaces are divided into four categories:
- Hubs: Hubs are ordinary spaces in metropolitan neighborhoods that aim to introduce a love of the outdoors to urban areas. We plan to open Hubs in key cities with high concentrations of potential owners to excite and educate people about our brand, goods, and principles.
- Seasonal Spaces: Temporary spaces may be set up quickly in strategic areas, allowing us to meet new and existing Rivians. Seasonal Spaces can be positioned indoors or out, and activations can last as little as a week or as long as many months, thanks to their flexible, low footprint shape.
- Outposts: Outposts, which are located near adventure destinations, allow guests to explore and enjoy the outdoors right away, with unique features such as gear and vehicle rentals.
- Preserves: These enormous areas of protected property, which are located further out in nature, will become their destinations. Preserves are natural areas that we want to preserve and protect while also allowing the Rivian community to enjoy them.
Our Venice Hub is open Monday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. PT. You are always welcome to visit us here.
Our address is 660 Venice Boulevard, Venice, CA 90291.
How Rivian Takes Care Of Covid-19 Safety Measures?
Our employees will be donning masks, and we urge that you do the same.
Regardless of vaccination status, masks are essential in both indoor and outdoor places. This includes our Drive Coach or Field Specialist, who will accompany you on your drive and coach you through it. Based on studies conducted by Rivian’s Environmental, Health & Safety team to design a comfortable and effective setting that enhances cabin air exchange while driving, our drives will be held with a partially open window arrangement.
To guarantee proper social separation, appointment times and other space considerations have been made. In compliance with CDC best practices, our crew will clean all vehicles in between drives, high traffic areas & surfaces, as well as touchpoints. While at the event, please pay attention to the event staff’s directions and any announcements.
All common touchpoints and surfaces that have come into contact with a customer will be sanitized by Rivian workers.
If you or anyone in your party has tested positive for coronavirus in the last 14 days, or if you are currently experiencing or have experienced any of the following symptoms in the last 24 hours, or if you have been contacted by a public official and determined to have been in close contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus, please do not attend the event at this time.
Rivian has systems in place to contact those who may have been exposed to someone who has a positive test result in the case of an outbreak.
About Rivian
Rivian is an electric vehicle manufacturer and automotive technology firm based in the United States that was founded by CEO Robert “RJ” Scaringe in 2009. Rivian is developing an electric SUV and pickup truck based on a “skateboard” framework that may support future cars or be used by other businesses. These cars are made to be driven both on and off the road. An electric van is also in the works, and all three vehicles are expected to hit the market in 2021. In the United States and Canada, the business intends to develop an exclusive charging network.
